The offices at The farley

An icon, anew

The James A. Farley Post Office is a New York City landmark and architectural treasure crafted by McKim, Meade and White, the same team of the original Penn Station. In order to convey the pedigree and revolutionary adaptive reuse story, Vornado, Related and Empire Development Co. sought our help to create a forward-thinking brand identity for the 1 million square feet of office space and new transportation hub, Moynihan Train Hall. Dubbed New York’s first “ground scraper,” Farley’s floor plates exceed 250,000 square feet, and an anticipated daily average of 650,000 commuters – it is a hub that breeds creativity and connection. With an acute sensitivity to the past and optimism for Farley’s future, we conceived a bold yet authentic brand – a love letter from New York to the future tenant of the next great creative hub - Facebook.
